Liquid Metals

Kerri Ann’s art displays an organic approach in all her work. Whether creating contemporary or abstract paintings, she draws from the natural elements of the earth by using a method on canvas working with acrylics, oils, and what she calls, “liquid metals”. A chemical process is then used to naturally speed up the oxidation of the metals to create the patina. Liquid iron turns to rust, liquid copper and bronze verdigris into a variation of greens and blues. Kerri Ann’s meticulous style and attention to detail is evident in all her creations.
